Enchanted Mushrooms began in 2019 with curiosity, passion, and a fascination for the incredible world of fungi.

What started as Ricky’s exploration into growing mushrooms quickly became a deeper appreciation for their culinary potential, nutritional value, and remarkable versatility. At the time, Ricky was working as an automotive machinist, while Lisa was a dedicated school teacher. What began as a Ricky’s hobby, slowly grew into a vision, a vision of creating something meaningful that could nourish people and strengthen their local community.

As their passion for mushrooms expanded, so did Enchanted Mushrooms. Through dedication, hard work, and a belief in the power of local food systems, Ricky and Lisa eventually made the leap from their careers to pursue mushroom farming full-time.

Today, Enchanted Mushrooms is proudly rooted in the Texas Hill Country, where we are committed to sustainable agriculture, quality, and community. We grow fresh, locally cultivated specialty mushrooms with care while building lasting relationships with local chefs, families, and food lovers who share our appreciation for exceptional food.
